Downloading Test Assets

You can download the following generated assets from Eggplant Generator by clicking the Download button on the Collections page (above the list of requirements):

  • Gherkin feature files: You can download feature files and use them directly in a Feature-driven automation suite in Eggplant Functional and as test steps in Eggplant DAI, as well as other Gherkin frameworks.

  • Test cases in CSV: You can download test cases in comma-separated value (CSV) files for manual testing. They are in a generic format to minimize the work necessary to import them into external test management tools.

  • Original requirements document: If you do not have it, or lost it, you can download the original file that was used to initiate the generation of the current collection.

  • Requirements in text format: If the original requirements file is in an inappropriate format, you can download the same requirements in a simple text format.
